Modules

Seven modules that share one org chart.

Each module solves one job completely instead of ten jobs badly. They are separate screens, but they read the same people, departments and reporting lines — so you maintain one source of truth, not seven.

01 Foundation

Org chart

The canvas that makes the rest possible.

A horizontal tree you can pan, zoom and fold. Deep branches collapse to a summary card so a twelve-level company still fits on one screen, and search jumps straight to a person or department.

  • Drag a card onto a department to change who it reports to.
  • Import departments, people and managers from CSV in one step.
  • Export the whole chart back to CSV whenever you need it.
02 Foundation

People directory

Everyone, in one searchable list.

Title, department, manager and email for every person in the workspace — with paging and search that stay fast past a thousand rows. Roles decide who can edit, and only admins see the controls.

  • Search by name, title or department.
  • Bulk import with row-level error reporting.
  • Emails stay private unless a module needs them.

Weekly reports

Updates that arrive without a follow-up message.

People write against a period (week, month or quarter, following your workspace calendar). Reminders go only to people who have not submitted, and one digest posts to the channel you choose.

  • Reminders with an editable message, per person, never mass-sent.
  • Comment threads with the author and the recipient notified.
  • Reuse last period's report as a template in one click.

Time off

Requests, approvals and honest business-day math.

Employees request time off from Slack; approvers get a direct message with Approve and Decline. Day counts skip weekends and your public holidays, and half days count as half.

  • Approver rules per department, with a company-wide fallback.
  • Public holidays per workspace, so counts match reality.
  • Requests for the same dates are blocked, so nothing overlaps.

Approvals

Reimbursements and purchases without a spreadsheet.

Design a template with nine field types — text, amounts, dates, ranges, selects, links and receipt attachments — then chain up to five approvers. Each step is resolved to a real person at submission, so a reorg mid-flight cannot lose a request.

  • Three templates included: expense, purchase, overtime.
  • Receipts compressed in the browser before upload; PDFs accepted.
  • Totals are grouped by currency and never added across currencies.
06 Culture

People calendar

The dates people actually want remembered.

Birthdays, work anniversaries, joiners and leavers, in a month view the whole team can read. Visibility is opt-in per person — nobody's birthday appears because an admin imported a spreadsheet.

  • Opt-in visibility, changeable at any time.
  • Joiners and leavers come from the org data, not a second list.
  • Works in the workspace's own time zone.

Lifecycle

Onboarding that does not depend on memory.

Checklists bound to a person: accounts, equipment, introductions, and on the way out, access revocation. Progress is visible to whoever owns the process, and the record survives the person leaving Slack.

  • Per-person checklists with owners and due dates.
  • Offboarding items run before access is removed.
  • History stays readable for audit.
